We're getting somewhere!

Alright. This past week I got the go-ahead to start work on the Basin Martini Bar website. I was unable to actually log any work time until tonight, for various reasons. Regardless, tonight I made a bit of progress. It isn't much, but I have the skeleton all laid out, and it's sitting at the following URL:

The site is going to be basic HTML/CSS and possibly some javascript. From here it's just a matter of filling in content, which will likely take quite some time. There's a lot of information I have to move from paper to bits, and what I have isn't even everything. So I'll probably get started on that tomorrow night.

Since I was in the groove, I decided to also crank out the skeleton for my portfolio website. I'm going to run with this whole "Think it Through" catch phrase, since it really is a rule of thumb I follow to a tee. I'll likely be powering my portfolio site with CodeIgniter, because it's a technology I've been very, very interested in since I first read about it. Hopefully I'll be able to work in a good deal of jQuery also, just to get a bit more exposure. Here's where the skeleton's at right now:

I think I'm finally getting somewhere... now I need to keep it up! I'll post more when I have something to write about!
